We recently delivered a ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ-๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ secondary packaging machine for a ๐ฉ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฒ, designed specifically for eye drop bottles in laminated pouches.

The machine is designed for eye drop bottles, with secondary packing in aluminum-laminated pouches.
Challenges & Solutions:
Zero Headspace Packaging
Unlike standard pouch packaging which allows for approximately 30% headspace, this project required -10% headspace, the pouch length had to be shorter than the bottle height. Achieving this without damaging the bottle required precision control and high consistency.
Vertical Bottle Orientation
To prevent spills and misalignment, the bottle had to remain vertical throughout the entire process, from feeding to the last stage of pouch sealing.
Additionally, the machine is connected to OCR validation and variable data printing.The printed data was inspected and validated in real time using an OCR system.
To mark pouches with batch-specific information, variable data printing was incorporated.
Any packs with inaccurate or missing information are automatically eliminated by a reject mechanism.
Batch Closure Data Printing:To ensure complete traceability and compliance, production data is also printed on the batch closure.
